Seattle! (Ye Old Curiosity Shop & Pike's Place)

Updated: Jul 9

We landed in Seattle and we had to take Mckenna to Pike's Place Market. Not sure at her age why she has a love for coffee already, but she wanted to check out the original Starbucks there. So we headed there first early in the morning. The walk was nice and the air crisp as we walked down the boardwalk to Pike's Place.

Mckenna made sure to eat everything in sight. Including Beecher's mac n cheese, cookies,

chocolate, and soda. She left with a bit of a tummy ache. The fish throwing in the market is a must see, and every bit of entertaining and grabs attention from all the visitors. We decided to make our way from beecher's and tour the market looking at all the beautiful fresh flowers, arts, and crafts and other finds in the market.

After the market we headed back down to the Pier to check out the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop. The Ye Olde Curiosity Shop has been owned and operated by the same family since 1899. They have collected some interesting things over the years. Real Mummies, Shrunken heads, two headed calf, and mer-man. If you are in Seattle, it is a must see.

We finished the day with some great food, and watching the sunset right under the Seattle great wheel. The Alaskan Halibut is what I had and it was to die for at the Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar right under the Great Wheel.
