Chill Day in Cancun

After Ek Balam and the Cenote we drove over to Cancun to check into our next hotel at the Intercontinental Presidente Resort. We signed up with the IHG card through Chase and received 125,000 bonus points (Make sure to read their T&C's to get reward points). This resort was paid for by points so cost us nothing out of pocket.

The resort has been renovated in and around 2014 and the rooms are still very nice and modern. We got in at around 4pm in the afternoon and went outside to check out the beach and lay around at the pool.

The next day we decided to head over to La Isla Shopping Village so we could go to the Interactive Aquarium and grab a bite to eat.

The Interactive Aquarium has dolphin experiences and highly recommend if you want a dolphin ride! If you have little kids it is great because they have a touch pool so you can touch starfish and sea urchins. It is about $15 USD to get into the aquarium and starts at about $89 USD for dolphin experience packages.

Walking around the shopping center, Mckenna had to try the fish spa. Yes, this is where fish eat the dead skin off of your feet.
